Stockton, California: A man died after a hit-and-run collision early Thursday morning near Wagner Heights Road and Single Tree Court, according to the Stockton Police Department.

Stockton police said officers responded at about 2:20 a.m. on September 17, 2026, and found an adult male at the crash scene. He was taken to a local hospital, where he later died.
